Tye Tribbett, a gospel singer, songwriter, choir director, and multi-instrumentalist from New Jersey, founded the group Tye Tribbett & Greater Anointing, or G.A., in the late 1990s.
In order to pursue a solo career, he released Fresh in 2010 and Greater Than on the Motown Gospel label in 2013. In 2014, he received two Grammy Awards, including one for Best Gospel Album.
He recently released an album titled “Greater Than” which contains various songs including “Greater Than”.
