Brenda Mtambo (born March 3, 1983) is a South African singer, artist, performer, and entrepreneur who has been in the music industry for a long time.
She discovered her musical talent in grade one while leading and singing songs during the school assembly, and music became her way to express herself as a shy child. Brenda hails from Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, and grew up in Umlazi, Durban.

Brenda Mtambo went on to study accounting at the University of Durban-Westville, where she graduated with a BCom. She gained exposure and experience while working with the popular musical group, Joyous Celebration, with whom she stayed for a decade, performing and touring across Africa and beyond.
Eventually, she ventured into a solo career, releasing two successful Afro-soul albums – “So Much More” in 2016 and “Inspired” in 2013.
